Sound Therapy Practitioner Course

Our Sound Therapy Practitioner Course aims to provide you with a nurturing, safe, calm space so that you can learn sound therapy with the least amount of overwhelm possible.

We cater best for those, who prefer individual (1:1) tuition as well as offering training in groups of 4 students maximum.

We keep group training to a very small size as we believe that getting to hear what you are doing without the interfering sound of what someone else is doing is important - otherwise it is possible that you could become lost in a sea of noise!

We will teach you to form a connection to your sound therapy instruments and to listen to the subtleties that they produce, as well as teaching you techniques in how to play them, plus an awful lot more!

The instruments taught are: gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, Shamanic & percussion instruments, tuning forks, and the voice.

You will learn from discussions about the instruments, from practical play of them and equally from receiving someone else playing them.

You will leave the training knowing what instruments you prefer and what might you be likely to want to buy to form your own toolkit.

Helen, your tutor will guide you all the way, through the training, case study phase and beyond!

Why Select this Course?

I’m looking forward to welcoming you to the Academy of Sound Therapy, where you can receive…

  • Personalised, One-to-One Training: Receive individual, bespoke instruction tailored to your needs. This approach allows you to truly hear and feel what you are playing, ensuring a deeper connection with the sound. Highly suited to those, like myself, who prefer not to be taught in a group, with ADHD, Neurodivergent, Dyslexia catered for. This style of training is also well suited to those who need the course to fit around their schedule.

  • Small Group Training: if you prefer being part of a group then you can learn in a small group of up to 4 students maximum - note that an extra day is added for this option.

  • In-Person ‘Felt’ Vibrational Medicine: Sound therapy is a vibrational medicine that’s best experienced in person. This course provides the tactile feedback necessary for genuine learning - something that online courses simply can't replicate.

  • Experience of an Extensive Range of Instruments: Gongs, Crystal Singing Bowls, Planetary Crystal Singing Bowls, Tuning Forks, Himalayan Singing Bowls & Percussion Instruments

More than enough for you to quickly get a feel for what suits you, which helps to inform your purchase choices - no requirement to have bought anything before attending the course!

  • Direct Access to Your Tutor: Helen Campbell is available to answer your questions immediately during each day’s training. Outside the classroom, you can reach her via email or WhatsApp for continued support.

A Message From Helen…

“It is my wish that while you are learning the powerful and conscious frequencies and vibrations of sacred sound, you feel comfortable in my space. You might be taking time off work to complete my course, so I want you to feel that, although you are learning sacred sound, you are also enjoying a retreat. My aim is for you to feel nurtured and looked after during your time with me.”
