Become a Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner
| Lincolnshire & East Midlands
Professional, CMA accredited training in a peaceful countryside retreat. Designed with small groups (max 4) and neurodiverse-friendly 1:1 tuition to ensure you never feel overwhelmed.
Is This Course For You?
Start a Soulful New Career
Feeling stuck in a routine or looking for a meaningful path? You do not need any prior musical or therapeutic background. Our highly structured, small-group environment ensures you learn to play gongs, bowls, and tuning forks with total confidence, giving you a complete blueprint to launch a successful practice from scratch.
Elevate & Diversify Your Practice
Avoid burnout and protect your physical stamina. By adding accredited sound healing to your existing yoga, bodywork, or Reiki practice, you can offer deeply restorative group sound baths or premium 1:1 sessions—allowing your body to rest while your income sustainably grows.
What You Will Learn
Core Practices: Master the art of therapeutic sound using an extensive, premium array of gongs, Himalayan bowls, crystal singing bowls, percussion instruments, tuning forks and the voice.
Practical Skills: Learn client care, session structuring, and how to confidently hold safe, transformative spaces for individuals and groups.
Professional Standards: Gain a complete, accredited qualification with the foundational knowledge required to start your own successful practice safely.
Why Learn From Me?
Lived Understanding: As a neurodivergent practitioner, I intentionally design my training to be structured, accessible, and completely free of overwhelm.
True Focus: I limit group sizes to a maximum of 4 students, ensuring you get the personal attention, safety, and deep mentorship you deserve.
Tailored 1:1 Pathways: I offer dedicated 1:1 tuition specifically adapted for neurodiverse learners, moving entirely at your own comfortable pace.
The Retreat Environment
Dedicated Space: Train in a beautiful, quiet countryside building away from daily distractions, offering a nurturing, retreat-like feel.
Full Support Included: We take care of you with fresh, nutritious lunches (such as healthy soups, stir-fries and salads), refreshments, and ample onsite parking.
No Car Required: Our premium door-to-door transit care from Grantham Station and local accommodation is exclusively provided for our Private 1:1 VIP students.
Course Structure
This immersive, in-person training is designed to support your growth:
One-to-One VIP Training: 5 days (10am - 5pm), consecutively or split into 3 + 2 days. It includes premium daily station and local accommodation transit care.
Small Group Training (max 4 students): 6 consecutive days (10am - 5pm)
Curriculum: You’ll learn the science and foundations of sound therapy; structured hands-on practice; how to design transformative sessions; and how to launch your professional practice.
Case Studies: 12 mandatory practitioner sessions. To suit your lifestyle, you can fast-track these as quickly as you wish, or take up to one full year to integrate and refine your skills.
Ongoing Support: Continued mentorship throughout your training, case studies, and completely lifelong professional support.
Why Only 4 Students per Course? Because Sound Must be Heard & Felt.
Most training courses cram 15–20 people into a room, making it impossible to truly hear your own instruments. We limit our group intakes to just 4 students. This guarantees you receive personalized mentorship from Helen, hours of direct hands-on practice, and a quiet space free from the interfering noise of a crowded classroom.
Location
The Academy of Sound Therapy is located in the peaceful countryside of Ingoldsby, near Grantham, Lincolnshire. Our tranquil rural setting provides a perfect retreat-like environment for students travelling from nearby Stamford, Oakham, Lincoln, Newark, and Nottinghamshire.
For students travelling from further afield then we are 15 minutes from the A1 and Grantham Railway Station.
Helen also provides a complimentary pickup service from Grantham Railway Station and from nearby accommodation for those without a car. This service has benefitted many students who have travelled from London.
